Orin von Cluskey (aka Tzar) born 5/4/2023

Located in Ohio. AKC registered, 87 pounds, just over 3 years old, neutered and current on all vaccinations, deworming and other health care. This handsome boy is in search of a new human and home to call his own. Tzar is from our O litter and, before the negative comments start and the suggestions begin, his human has tried everything she can to make this work but there are just some circumstances and obstacles outside of her control that are causing too much stress for the dog that is resulting in negative behavior patterns that consistently improve when the dog stays in a location away from the home. This has been experimented with on several occasions, and the results are the same each time, so the difficult decision has been made in Tzar's best interest to find him a different home. Tzar will respond best to someone who is firm and consistent in their handling of him. He loves his routine but can handle change with no problems. He is confident and curious and has no environmental issues. He loves to ride in the car, is great in a crate or kennel, has solid foundation obedience and leash skills (if he knows you mean it), and is good in the house. His food drive is fantastic, but his toy drive has been low from puppyhood and nothing has been done to develop it, so, although he loves to pick up and carry things, his toy drive isn't useable for motivational purposes. He has a fantastic nose and his hunt drive is really strong. He has been introduced to footstep tracking and thoroughly enjoys it. He would be a wonderful tracking, nose/scentwork prospect or may be a nice alert detection service dog prospect. He has been conditioned to an invisible fence but his human doesn't trust him with it when he's on a scent or chasing a critter. He does have allergies but does well on the food he is on and symptoms are much less outside the home. He has issues with the other dogs he lives with, but has displayed no same or opposite sex issues with other dogs away from the home. This is a really good boy who needs the chance to race and run and be a dog with a constructive job or hobby to share with a human who enjoys doing fun dog things. Please message directly if interested in discussing whether Tzar could be a good fit for you.
