Drago von Cluskey
Drago von Cluskey, born 3/31/20, is 79 pounds of lean, muscular intact AKC registered male with outstanding working or sport dog potential. He has OFA prelim fair hips and normal elbows and is dm and mdr1 clear by parentage. He is from titled, health tested parents from top European working lines. His sire is a son of Chris spod Lazov and his dam is a Dago von Weltwitz granddaughter. Drago is wonderful in the house, is crate trained and rides well in the car. He is excellent environmentally with fantastic food and over the top ball drive. He has very strong hunt drive with a fantastic nose. He would be very suitable as a detection, SAR or competition scent dog. He has very nice basic obedience. I unfortunately don’t have access to a helper so haven’t been able to assess his protection potential, but strongly feel that he could succeed as a personal or sport protection dog. He bonds strongly and really wants to work with and please his handler. He is good with female dogs and okay around cats, although he would chase them if allowed. Drago is a very high energy dog who is looking for a confident handler with working dog experience to continue his training and bring him to his full potential. He is searching for his ball in the search videos below—I have intentionally not paired the ball with any specific odor as of yet. He can be started on narcotics, HR or competition scent training if desired.
